I have a short bed Taco and fortunately/unfortunately for me i also own a sportbike. Given said that, I'm a bit limited on what I can do since I haul my bike on and off fairly often. Are there are any motorcycle owners out there with cool setups? Ideally I want to be able to carry a small compact tool case (big enough to fit ratchets, some 10-19mm sockets, few wrenches, screwdrivers, etc) along the side of the bed maybe? Would like to see some ideas!

Are you looking for a way to strap down your bike or what?

I've got the tailgate reinforcement, jp metal fab corner brackets, and I built a platform with a removable wheel chock that holds the bike straight up and to the side, so you can fit a ramp next to it in the bed

I buy bikes on the side for a dealership so I'm always transporting them

You might check out the Undercover Swingcase. I've got two in the back of my truck for storing miscellaneous crap, and they work great. Removable in about two seconds, for when you want the extra bed space. Lockable. Keeps stuff dry. They have a small tray in them for small items. Really good product!

no more of how people setup storage when the motorcycle is in the bed simliar to what cranemech posted. Unforutnatley that won't work for me because I have a bed extender.

I just have having to use my backseat as a trunk (tool box and misc small items) so i want to clear up my backseat by moving some of my stuff to the bed but since I have a motorcycle, i'm limited on what I can do back there.

When I went to the track I just strapped the tool box to the side of the bed, same with my stands and gas can. I keep my tie downs in the storage behind the seats
