I just bought a 2002 Tacoma with 128,000 miles on it. I have it for 2 weeks and no issues. Started it this morning and now it is missing when it idles, while driving, and loss of power. I don't know if the plugs have ever been changed, but that was the first thing I was gonna try. The check engine light isn't on, so don't think it will show a code if I hook diagnostic up to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There could be codes without a light, the CEL only comes on for emission related errors. Do a full tune up since you just got the truck and while you have the plugs out, do a compression check and report back.

Truck is fixed. Changed plugs and all where bad. Still didn't fix it. Took it to autozone and hooked up to it. Showed #4 cylinder misfire. Bought a coil pack. Problem solved. Thanks for the help
