I just recently bought new wheels and tires and needed to removed the front mud flaps due to the fact that the tires were rubbing. As I removed the passenger side I noticed there was more clearance there than the drivers side. So my question, is that normal?

I also have more clearance on the passenger side.

"Taco lean" our trucks tend to lean on the driver side...I think it's because of the gas tank and because it's the driver side so it gets more use. You can get a spacer to alleviate it.

It doesn't sound like "Taco Lean" and personally I don't believe "Taco Lean" even exists. The way I read your post, you are talking about clearance between the wheel and front mud flaps? That sounds like your caster might be a little out of spec. Can't hurt to have your alignment checked.

That is how I took it. This is the driver's side. This is 3 one-quarter inch pieces between the wheel and the Bushwhackers so a little less than 3/4 inch.

On the passenger's side you could squeeze 5 pieces, but it was really tight. This was after an alignment. I took it back and had them check it. It was where I had ask.

I think they just build them crappy. I had all kinds of rub with 265/75/16's and 2" lift. I had the dealer owners truck next to mine and he is running 285's with no rub on a 2" lift, same backspacing and offset on wheels, although they were different wheels, but same specs. He did NO TRIMMING, just removed splash guards, that was all. He even had room to spare. I did notice he also had to remove the little(front splash guard?) piece on the front though? Mine is a mile away from that. It's like my wheels are set farther back in the opening than his, which looks noticeable when side beside, too. Both 2015
