3,000 or 5,000 miles opinions please

Jake, thanks for mentioning me in your post! Now, take a minute and think of what you learned:
1. Some people like Dino Oil
2. Some people like Syn Oil
3. Some people use extended oil changes
4. Some people use short miles oil changes
5. Some people know some people who have driven a million miles on dino oil, or syn oil, or have never done an oil change, etc
6. Like assholes, everyone has an opinion
7. Since everyone just has an opinion, maybe you should rely on factual information instead.

So, next time do this
1. Go the owners manual
2. Read it
3. Learn what Toyota recommends
4. Make your own choice

Also do this: Before posting a question use the search engine. I suspect you will find the answer (or at least something like an answer) because you question has been asked before. Its a terrible thing to waste baby electrons for questions which have previously been discussed, ad nauseam.

 

Door ding you did it again, thanks for the laugh. Vtdog..... Really? You put a lot of energy in your post good for you, you get one gold star. As far as the manual is that the little book thingy in the glove box? See what I did there "glove box". Yes my good man I have been reading it as a matter of fact I have a bunch of book marks in it in different pages. I'll probably, no wait, I'm sure I'll be asking questions on those subjects as well so again feel free to use that little wheel on the mouse pad to scroll past any post from me. Maybe it escaped you, but that's EXACTELY what I was looking for was OPINIONS after I read that STUFF in that thingy in the glove box
