Looking into putting some lights under my hood to illuminate the engine compartment. Can anyone recommend a pin switch to use that will last? Lots of the threads I've found have said the pin switches have corroded and failed after a year or so.

Just grab any single contact OEM dome lite door switch [any make] and wire it through a relay so when it grounds it will turn on or off. If it should go bad just replace it for about 50 cents [U pullit salvage yard]
