Been searching for straight answers to these questions on the site and can't quite seen to find them. I've been looking into getting Fox 2.0 Coilovers along with the 2.0s for the rear for my 06 trd. I'm currently running stock trd suspension/tires/wheels and would like to move up to 285/70R17 for tires. Are new UCAs necessary for this set up? Would it be a level ride height? Suggestions? HELP:goingcrazy:

Thanks Rock Lobster! What size tires would you recommend for a 2" lift? What would be good to lift the rear?

    2" lift 265's without cutting a lot

Leaf springs alterations on the rear. They are the best option and like Rock said, they provide the lift as the shocks do not.

Thanks geekhouse23, any recommendations on where to find some leaf springs? Would adding a 1" to the rear and 2" to the front make a level height and still be able to safely clear the tires in the rear?

Is it better to go with AAL?

For that small of a lift, yes. Any significant weight or towing will cause the leaves to flatten if they aren't already.

Gotcha! Can you even purchase a 1" leaf? Been searching and everything seems to be 2.5" and up.

After some good research I found some. Would you also recommend new UCAs?

I always do in order to get proper alignment. Do it once, do it right.

Is $1500 about right for a small lift like this? Just want quality parts that are going to last. I've used fox for many years with mountain bikes and its hard to go wrong with it, thats why I've been steering in that direction.

265/70/16 or 265/65/17 are stock on TRD models. 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 is 1" taller at 32". About right for 2" of lift IMO

I'll also add that UCAs would be a good purchase as well. Even at 2" lift you can't get your caster up where it should be without adding more camber than I like. I've been driving with low caster for months. It's not terrible, but I definitely look forward to getting UCAs to cut down on wandering and bump steer.

Roughly depending on who you go with. If you're getting UCA's, yes. If you were going full OME 3" lift, it would be closer to about $18-2000.
