I'm getting ready to do the yellow wire mod (4Lo TRAC) and I'm seeing conflicting info on which wire to cut. I've read and read. One said it's the very top yellow wire with black tracer. Another said it's the second one down with the thinner black tracer. As you can see, on my truck the second one down has the thicker tracer. I'm 4 kinds of confused and don't want to screw this up. Does anyone know which wire it is?

Thanks. I don't know how i missed that one. So it won't matter which wire has the thick or this black tracer, as long as I disconnect the second from the top as shown in that thread? In that pic it appears the top wire has the thick tracer where my truck has the thick tracer on the second wire.

The second one from top. Not sure if the tracer thickness is a factor. I did the one pictured in thread and it worked for me.

I'd go with location on the plug. That shouldn't change between trucks

Disclaimer: I know nothing about this mod. That would just make the most sense to me

Of course. That is what I was thinking too. Worse case I cut the wrong one and reconnect it and cut the other.
