    It took many many months for mine to arrive. I requested personalized plates but they didn't give them to me. They didn't even give me my Ham radio call sign as a plate. At least I got something.

    I checked my online banking and looked at the back of the check. They had written on there my first pick that I selected for the presonalized plate. I hope that means I get it!

    Just did my whole order online at the DMV site. Says it will take 8-12 weeks and it accepted the personalized plate I wanted.

    None yet.
    I got mine but my personalized plates weren't approved. "MX TACO".
    How are you guys securing your plates? I don't live in a bad area but there's always that one person.
    I went to home depot & bought longer bolts ( 1/4"x1") with nuts n washers. I managed to get underneath to put the nuts on tight.
    Too bad the bumper doesn't have the bottom holes drilled..

    Taco is slang for a vagina, DMV won't issue any with it. That's why mine were not approved.

    I use security fasteners, torx with a pin in the center, then back that up with a nyloc hex nut on the back.

    Too few to list.
    I ordered mine in February and just got it last week. Original instructions when ordered was designate a DMV location or Autoclub to pick the plates up from. DMV just sent them to me directly.

    WTF I did the same thing, but in November. I just called and left a voicemail. I wonder if it has anything to do with me moving. I updated my address at the DMV, but even if they sent it to the wrong address, the post office should have forwarded it to my new address.

    edit: nevermind. I just realized you said 2012. Mine was just last year
