only 2.5's. they offer a piggyback or remote reservoir. the piggyback is a easier fit.

I belive its around a 9" travel shock. its designed for 0-1.5/2" of lift. they can build custom lengths if that's something you needed. you would just need to supply the measurements. extended and collapsed.

DSM, what is the stroke on the TC +2 specific coilovers?

    ...too much shit to list.
Pretty sure it's just a 8" short body (threaded cap)

Hmmm I was under the impression that ADS built a specific coilover for that kit vs just using a 8" made for the +3.5.

Does that cost more for them to be custom made?

Per Brian at ADS, he has never installed their LT shock on a +2 kit. But with that being said, every other manufacturer uses the same shock for the +2 as well as the +3 kit, you just don't use all the shocks down travel due to the kit not cycling as much.
ADS's shock is a 8" shock or 7.5" above the rubber bump, built to the bolt in LT kit specs.

FINALLY got to try out my new ADS set up off road last night... I couldn't be more stoked! Took a "scenic" drive home after dinner with friends, a fast dirt road with a little bit of everything. Every aspect of the ride is so much better! More controlled on stutter bumps/wash board (wasn't expecting too much, but was blown away with the control), soaked up everything I was willing to throw at them, and also super plush. On road ride is awesome as well... I can now destroy rain gutters and speed bumps with out batting an eye lol.

I did notice one thing, not really to do with the ADS shocks though. Seems my UCA's contact the inner fender on hard hits. I did some research on here, and discovered the super bumps may be the culprit for this... Caught me by surprise, and I don't want any more hits like that with everything else being stock. I came over a crest into a small G-out at like 50-55, and BAM! It sounded like the tires hit... But I'm running stock tire size. I pulled over to check to make sure I didn't jack anything up. Found that the UCA's hit the inner fender. It doesn't look like the C/O even bottomed out, which is good right? Having the shock's or C/O's as the limiting factor is bad as far as I know... I saw a post about a guy adding some washers to the bumps to aid in the issue, gonna have to give it a try, and take it easy!

Awesome to hear you're enjoying it! Did you weigh your bed down at all to test it out? I've learned that it makes a huge difference for me, likely because I just have an AAL. And yeah, my UCA has smacked the fender a couple times as well and scared me quite a bit the first time haha.

I think wheelers actually make shims for there super bumps. Guess washers would work too.

@TaylorU - Yea I tried the sandbag trick... much better! When I went out the other day, I had two people in the back seats and one in the front passenger, so I took the sand bags out to see how it rode off road with people weight. I think I am just gonna leave the sand bags in... people weight is too far fwd, and not over the rear axle. So it was still a bit stiff. But yea, I am super stoked with everything so far!

@gray223 - Thanks! I will have to look into that for the shims, or I could be a cheap @$$ and just do washers lol.

    Good to hear!

On a side note, I was watching The Mint 400 today on NBC. I dont think any of the trick trucks were running ADS, but I saw them in the background a few times with their big booths/tents set up and even shots of spectators reppin ADS apparel. Just thought it was kinda cool.

Finally got around to lifting my 2014 Tacoma TRD OR. After chatting with @STiLL WILL for months about what setup to go with, he convinced me to go with ADS. He put me in touch with Matt at @M C M and based on my future plans (overlanding type of rig), he suggested the following setup:

    ADS 2.5 Remote Resi Shocks
ADS Rear Piggy Back 10" Travel Shocks
ADS 2.0 Rear Hydro Bump Kit
    Deaver U402 Leaf Pack
    MCM Fab Uniball UCAs
Wheel Spacers (needed since I'm still running on stock wheels/tires at the moment)

In addition, I had Matt add:
    TC Spindle Gussets
    CMC

Since I was heading out to Vegas for my cousin's 21st bday and Matt quoted me a great price for install, I drove the truck from the SF Bay Area out to Matt's shop for the install. I dropped the truck off at about 8:30am on Friday, July 24th. Matt was able to schedule the alignment for Saturday morning so he said I would have the truck back by noon Saturday.

I have to say Matt has some awesome customer service. His shop is only a few minutes from the strip so he offered to drop me off and pick me up at the hotel. I wasn't expecting to hear from him until sometime Saturday morning but to my surprise, he sent me some progress pictures throughout the day on Friday.

I couldn't wait to get the truck back and see how she drives. Matt gave me a call the next morning and picked me up around 11:30am. He drove me back to the shop and I was able to see the taco in all her glory!

After Vegas, I drove to Tucson, AZ, then to Anaheim, then finally back to the bay. I put on 1200+ miles on the new suspension after the install. I have to say the truck rides amazingly. I love the added height it gives me and the suspension feels solid. It rides smooth over bumps, potholes, and speed bumps and is definitely a huge upgrade over the stock setup. Now I need to hurry up and get my new wheel and tire setup soon.

Here are some more miscellaneous pics of the suspension

Thanks again to @STiLL WILL for the help and @M C M for the install. I HIGHLY recommend hitting up Matt if you have any questions or are interested in some ADS products!
