    I'm at just over 4 years and 60,000 miles on my OEM battery and haven't had any issues.

    That's the exact same thing that happened to me. I bought my 11 DCSB in October of 2010 and replaced the exactly 4 years later.

    In the FL heat i have gone through batteries in my other truck every 2 years. my 2013 Tacoma was at 57k which was 2 yrs 6 months

    Yeah, heat is a killer for car batteries. In my 09, the original one lasted 2 years, then was replaced under warranty. That one lasted 4 years, and just died last week.

    And, since moving to the Houston area, all my batteries die suddenly, one time a slightly slow crank that kind of gets your attention, but not fully, then next attempt, nothing, gone dead.

    Original battery crapped right at 70k on my 06. Replaced the battery in my 12 at 70k as well, it was showing signs.
