So i just bought my first Tacoma. Its an 02 4x4 double cab TRD package with 129,000 miles. The previous owner installed a Tuff Country 4in lift w/ drop bracket. Both rear springs and the front passenger side spring are shot. I don't want to remove the DB so I'm stuck keeping the lift. I wanted to replace the fronts with adjustable 5100's and Eibach set to the 1.5in setting to give me 4.5in of lift to equal what i have now and in the rear go with a set of long travel 5100's and North West Off Road 2in lift spring with a set of Toytec adjustable shackles to give me 4in in the rear. Does this sound like a good start?

I'm trying to get rid of the spacers, I'm not a fan of them. The truck has crazy axle wrap

As far as i know tuff country only makes a 3" spacer lift and a 5" drop bracket lift for these trucks. In the front the db lifts use a spacer on top of factory struts to get your lift so you have to replace with 0" lift struts. In the rear youl want around 3-4" to level if it is the 5" kit

I just went and measured it uses a 4.5in spacer above the coilover and plastic spacer below the spring in the front and a 4in block in the rear. Is there anyway to not run spacers?

spacer wont cause problems with a db lift because all suspension components are dropped. A spacer lift without drop brackets are the ones that over extend joints and cause wear/failures. Their are options to get rid of spacers but their just struts with a longer shock body thats doing the same as the spacer on stock strut.
