I have tried to find it, cannot find the part number anywhere for a grille surround.

i know i can remove my '15 lame chrome painted grille "surround" but i am pretty lazy and would prefer to buy a new grille surround in black. I cannot find that particular part anywhere...does it exist as a stand alone part?

i will probably but the TRD PRO insert for a million dollars but thats only the insert

What Have You Done To Your Tacoma Today?

The actual part # didn't work at my dealership. You have to have VIN # from the year and color of a Sport model truck. For my '13 I used VIN# 5TFLU4EN9DX069604 which is for a MGM paint. Go to Auto Trader and search for the

Have you tried the parts diagram with part numbers here? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ams-and-part-numbers-with-list-prices.347123/

Actually the surround doesn't look to be sold as a separate piece. The grill is sold as an assembly:

yes, I have done the mods
this page at Camelback parts has all the colormatched grill surrounds available for a few bucks less than you posted. I got my 2012 silver from them a couple months ago and it matches perfectly. I've never seen the color or chrome surround separate from the black grille fill pieces.

I've had good luck with buying parts from Camelback Toyota. I usually use their site https://partsfactory.camelbacktoyota.com

Try part#53100-04471 It shows its unpainted and non SR5 which means it would not be the chrome one. The chrome one seems to be ending in 91 with everything I have found. I'm going to ask my parts guy about this one tomorrow.
