I have a question that google can't seem to answer about exhausts so I will post it here...

I have a 14 DCSB TRD Sport with the TRD Catback Exhaust System. If I swap the Catback muffler (just the muffler) with a different muffler, will I LOSE the catback efficiency?

    Thanks

Really depends on what you go with instead. If you get a more restrictive muffler then yes.

How about you ask in the second gen exhaust section and get real answers?

The TRD Pro is rated for the same power and torque numbers as other models. Expect zero power gains, at least with the stock engine.

    See above.

Any exhaust changing you do is purely for sound. Don't bother with a full custom cat back it's a waste of money. Get a muffler only that you think sounds good and just weld it in place of the stock one. Same exact thing.
