I love the look of the swing out but doesn't it get annoying when you need to use the bed?

Same here. Very high on the wish list once funds get back in order. I use the bed for my dog so getting in and out easily has always been a concern with it.

    Leer XQ?

Also, does that side window pop out along it's entire length? I.e., is it hinged at the front and latched at the rear? And if so, is there a provision for a screen?

It just pops out at the rear end. You can put a screen on it if you wanted.

Yep, it's Leer 100XQ. Window pops up about 1"-1 1/2" in the back only. Its not even hinged. It's held down with a single bolt and the window itself just bends out a little. Screens are optional, I think.
I think it is the best looking shell on the market but it is definitely looks over function. My biggest complaints are the way how side windows barely open, very little air circulation (if you leave a wet towel there it takes forever to dry and starts to stink) and that the back window does not open high enough. I can't count how many times I walked into the corner of that back window. Almost took my eye out once. I am pretty happy with it, however.

I did get a great deal on it used. $1100 in great condition off Craigslist from a used shell dealer. Had minor scuff on the top that you can't even see. Came with removable front window and side window screens. I did replace gas cylinders, stop light and a lock on it. Have a keyless entry kit sitting on my work bench waiting to be installed...
