What would you choose? And why? I probably wont ever have to worry about rocks in FL. But i like how they deflect doors in parking lots and that they look like they can be doubled as a step bar. Given that information what would your fine advice be.

I ask cause i always see people selling their nfabb or dealer predators and getting sliders. Aside from rock protection. How are they better than the stepbars?

Step bars bolt to the body.
    Sliders bolt to the frame.

Step bars are too low and inboard to block offending door slams from people parked to close.
    Sliders, in short, are opposite.

Sliders make crummy steps and steps make crummy sliders.

Some sliders are available (likely most if requested) at a low or no angle so they can be used as a step. I've not used them, but this seems to please those owners who went that route.
