hi guys i am new to the forums my name is John i recently was involved in a car accident and needed a new car so i went with a 2015 toyota tacoma double cab 4 cyl! Which brings me to the help I need from you guys as you guys know the original rims that come on the truck are very small And the par that either not like is the way they said so far inside the wheel well so I have found some rims and I would like to know if these specs will be good on my truck to at least bring the rims out to be flush with the owm fender flares so here it goes!
    15x7
    Offset -6mm
    Backspace 3.74"

So the you think the rims on the truck are too small, but you're going to buy 15s? That doesn't make sense. Are you talking about the tires being too small? I don't think those wheel specs will push the wheel out much further, if any further than stock...I might be wrong on that one though. Why not get some 16s or 17s?

When i meant small im actually talking about how the wheels sit inside the wheelwell and i wanted to have the wheels sit flush with the body of the truck and these rims i would be able to use my stock tires

Drive your Tacoma the way it is for now and save your money for some new off road tires that will look good with those wheels you want.Consider some 16's or 17's like Will(@VandalTaco)suggested.I agree with him and i actually think you'll be happier in the long run that way.Just my opinion.Good luck!

Lol I was trying to figure out how far they would stick out, but can't find the bs on those stock wheels. Looks like they won't sit in there as much as the stock wheels, but not by a whole lot.

Ron's right though, just save up and do new wheels and tires together, you likely won't be happy with the small wheels and tires and it will just end up costing you more in the long run. The inter webs are filled with wheel and tire vendors, and your city likely is as well.

-6 offset isn't too bad. I have -10 with a 16" rim on mine and they stick out about 1/4 past the fender. I love the look of mine, it makes the stance a little more aggressive. Keep in mind your stock steel wheel tpms sensors won't work with the new rims you buy. You will need those as well.

Here's mine with the -10mm offset

It's not just the offset, the backspacing and wheel width also affect it. Those 15s are slim and have pretty small backspacing. There is a sticky about wheel specs in the wheels and tires section.

The OP could always look on Craigslist for TRD Off Road wheels and tires that are complete with tpms sensors in them. That would be roughly a $200-$300 worthwhile upgrade

Sounds like he is. The DC 2wd trucks come with 15" steel wheels.

Yeah, so take-offs from TRDs won't fit. I'm almost certain the Tundra 5 lugs won't fit either. Highlander and Rav4 wheels may work for you, look pretty sharp, and could be cheap.
