The large letters aren't my thing. In your particular case, it looks like the letters aren't evenly spaced out, and some appear taller than others. It's subtle, but it throws it off for me visually. Perhaps I'm just imagining it. Either way, if you're happy that's all that counts.

They are crooked, looks like the right (picture point of view, actually the left on the truck) is lower. That combined with them being white? Too much. All in all I think it looks like garbage (no offense). There was a reason why the raptor letters were black. If they were white they wouldn't need to be so large to get noticed. If you want white letters, go with something smaller. If you want big letters, go with black or grey.

Also, I think having the "Tacoma" letters isn't helping. Visually speaking "Toyota" just looks better. For me, coming from the northwest where we have a town called Tacoma, I'd never put that on my truck.

EDIT: I just took a look at BAMF's website. They have their letters placed MUCH closer together than you do. Fix that and them being crooked and I think it will improve the look a lot.

That looks like the old Landcruiser ones! I have one laying around and was going to put it on but with the ARB bumper, lightforce lights and winch box sort of in the way I didn't want to make my front end look too busy.

I'm "personally" not a big fan of the "Raptor" style letters. I prefer a cleaner look. I ended up scraping my chrome grill and ordered a sport color matched grill then heavily modified the front.

Snagged a badge off of an 04 Tacoma's tailgate at the local junkyard. Plasti dipped it black and slapped on some 3M tape to make it stick. Thoughts? I haven't seen ANYBODY do this cosmetic mod yet that has a billet grill. Opinions (good and bad) are appreciated. IMG_7982.jpg

I actually think it looks nice since you've already got a black and stainless scheme goin on kinda. I'd do less spacing between the letters, center them vertically, and make sure the letters are all level (the first T looks slightly higher in the photo).

Thanks! I could have probably spent more time on it but when it's 110 degrees outside things tend to get rushed lol

Can't have them on fire. It's my job to put fire out!

Maybe it'll look like it's on fire some when I cut on my red LEDs in the grille and everywhere else

It's subtle. I like that. That said... I'm "personally" not a fan of grill letters but that's just "my" opinion. If you like it that is all that matters :)

So I took most of your advice and decided to repaint my grill letters black. To say the least, I am much more satisfied with the final look. Appreciate all of your responses! IMG_2146 (1).jpg
