    The rivets do seem quite secure, I have to admit. The downside is you need a rivet gun. It also took a lot of squeeze pressure to break off those rivet stems. That is why one of them went flying out the back of my gun and I lost it. I keep checking the belts etc to make sure it hasn't reappeared, but it likely fell off on the road while driving.

    Is there any available information on maintenance? I've searched the website and looked through the PDF manual but didn't see anything. I've had my Elite struts for four or five years and when I open my hood the struts "groan" and stutter a bit. This started a couple months ago. I wanted to check before using any sort of oil or lube as I assume that would just attract dust and sand.

    It's a shame that Redline don't make any installation video for this.
    The wordings in the installation instruction is confusing to me.
