Sorry if this is off topic. I wasn't sure where to put it.

So, I was bookended last night on the interstate. Everyone was slowing down but the dually pulling a trailer behind me couldn't stop. Slammed into me, sending me into the guy in front of me. I'm pretty sure my little yoda is a goner.

So, I'm trying to get a feel for what kind of price I should shoot for. I know the claims adjuster is going to low ball so I want to have some numbers to fight back with. I've checked cars.com, ebay, etc. I'd like to get everyone's real world option. (kbb is nuts).

    Specs:
2004 Standard cab. Frame was sprayed but it does have some surface rust on it. Rhino lined bed
62,000 miles (this is the worst part!)
    4 cyl
    5 speed
That about it. No power windows, locks etc. Alpine bluetooth radio (not sure if that matters).

I've seen them anywhere from 9k up to 14. What do you guys think?

    Thanks!

You may be pleasantly surprised. My wife's 2007 Camry got totaled by the insurance company a few weeks ago, and they valued it at 3k higher than kbb did.

    Reserected from the dead.
Your frame in the front looks fine, the rest is just plastic and sheet metal. Buy it back and rebuild it.

Beautiful truck (at least it was). Such a shame; I feel your pain. It will be almost impossible to find another one like it.

Yea. I cant find much online that are similar. Most seem be to automatic or have a ton of miles on them. So I really can't get a ballpark figure on what I should get for it. I paid 11k for it 4 years ago.

So far south in Texas my feet are in salt water

3 in Ultimate ToyTec, set @ 2.5 in. AAL PINCH Weld Mod ( beat the pinch weld over inside the fender) Painted the pinch weld on bottom of cab Black Hi Lift Knock off
KBB is crazy ,they price it way to low. But I think it was worth ~10K to 11K Nice clean truck, low miles. I dont understand KBBs pricing on your truck.

From the picture of the front the parts damaged are bolt on replaceable. The back bed is available at the wrecking yards also. So I would try to by it back and fix it myself (if they total it) and have someone paint it. And maybe they will not total it since it doesnt look like it got into the frame.

Just got off the phone with the appraiser. It booked for 13,197.00. I'm happy with that price.

I know you would rather have your truck, but to be able to drive it for 4 years and still profit more than $2K, seems like a great deal.
