Sagging rear leafs ??

    Hey guys and gals. I am concerned with my rear leafs, i think they are sagged, would like some opinions. I bought this truck new in january of 15. Access cab trd offraod 4x4. I have not towed anything with it. I have hauled some mild loads, half a dozen times to the tune of 200-300 lbs. I have 150 lbs gear in the toolbox, and maybe 150 lbs in the sliders. My hub to fender measurements are as follows. Should I have more stock rake than this? See pics of leafs below, can take more if needed, just let me know what you want to see. Thank you !

    Front driver 20"
    Front passenger 20"
    Rear driver 20-3/4"
    Rear passenger 21-1/4"

    Thx Corey. Did you get any lift with the bags? I am gonna lift about 2" all around soon and debating rear set up. Aal, 3 leaf aal or new leaf pack altogether. Not sure if i should bring it on to toyota to have a look at these.

    Ya i been running the bags with about 10lbs in them and it rides nice. You can air them up to 100psi max and i saw about a 2-2.5" lift with them fully aired up, just wanted to see how high the truck would be when i installed them. But you shouldn't ride like that cause it would be rough as hell lol. I haven't had a load of anything in the truck yet but as soon as i do ill defiantly put some pics up.

    Here is a video of the installation to show you how easy it is and I recommend buying some cradles for the airbags instead of mounting them to the plates on the leaf cause if you put the truck up on a lift and the suspension fully extends you can damage the air bags. Here is the link to the cradles.

    No, they installed the TSB springs on my 2011 and they ended up the same way. So screw it, I got a set of Wheeler's progressive add a leafs and I am going to take off the overload and use the bags if I have any weight to haul.

    Have not installed it yet, but when I do I will let you know.

    2.5 in lift
    The factory rear springs on Tacos have sucked for years. Just replaced mine with a set of OME springs. Best upgrade yet. Was going to go with Alcan springs however the cost difference was huge. Just something to look at instead of air bags. They have their own issues especially if you live in an area that gets cold in the winter or play off road on a regular basis. Just my two cents.

    Good info, thank you. did you get the dakars? I know a new leaf pack is the best option. how much lift did you get? new shocks too ?

    Get a new leaf pack rather than slapping a band-aid AAL on sagging leafs. Wheelers, All-Pro, or Dakars (ARB/Old Man Emu)

    I had the same issue and went with the Dakars - they're definitely stiffer, but don't have any sagging

    I've had the 3 leaf AAL from Wheeler's and with a 225 lb shell now living on my bed, will be upgrading again to the Ride Rite bags. With a few hundred pounds of bed cargo I'm blinding oncoming traffic at night with my low beams, so it isn't a perfect solution in the 3 leaf itself.

    I'd consider a new leaf pack, or Ride Rite bags if you plan to keep adding weight.
