I am still planning on going with my girlfriend aboard. I would like to check out the coast there too so not sure if we will camp with you guys and then go to the coast in the morning or maybe try for a site closer to the water. Any recommendations?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I got my shovel at Harbor Freight (thanks for the tip Mike!), and bought a 5lb ABC extinguisher + mount at Home Depot yesterday. Mounted it in back to the bed liner. The liner is a little wobbly with the weight but should be ok. Not sure what to do about that. I thought about a hi lift, but I have nowhere to place it underneath when it may be needed. But that reminds me...need to go out and check the jack I do have and see if it'll even work.

Edit: Stock bottle jack with a couple chunks of wood lifts the back end just fine, so the front should be good too.

Also aired up all tires including the spare, which was low. Now to just pack her up.

I've got the Viair 85P and it works just fine. Takes ~5 minutes per tire to go from 12PSI to 35PSI. Not the most speedy thing in the world, but it works.

I also picked up an ARB EZ Deflator. Seems a bit better than using a key or stick to hold down the valve stem.

I have a small portable one, but not sure how good it will be. I might just air enough to get me to a gas station on Sunday.

Shovel. Tent. Chair. Water. First Aid Kit. Getting hi-lift. Grabbing fire ext. Cooler and will make some sammies. Need to get tools together.

(Just making a list so I don't forget things)

I'm shooting to be up there by 10-11am. So if I don't see any familiar trucks, I'll look for the big pay site or the big dispersed one. Once found I'll find service to inform you gents, unless mike beats me there tomorrow morning

Well I'm going to change that up. Sister is off work tomorrow, so I'll have her meet me in Portland and take the kid. Then the wife can come down on her own later

OK, since there's some new people on Friday, I'm going to do my best at some coordination:
    • My plan is to show up at the Fred Meyer on Imbrie Drive around 10am or so, it might be 11am if I'm running behind. Watch this thread and I'll post an ETA before I leave. Send me a PM tonight and I can add you to Waze if you have that, and I'll blast y'all an invite to track my drive or something like that. I'm not that good at Waze yet so I might bumble it.
    • I'll post up once I get in Freddy's and you have about 30 min to meet up with me if you want to caravan
    • Once I get to TSF I'll find where we are camping, stake claim if we don't have it already, and take a GPS heading. Once I get to TSF, I have no cell reception
    • I'll post the coordinates on a paper plate down at the Roger's staging area and possibly give a time that we will be expected to hang around camp. If you get there at a weird time, we might be out wheeling it up. Sorry.
    • I'll mark off a tree or something at the camp site with some orange flagging tape. The tape will say TW on it in sharpie.
And since the first post is really hard to find,:evil::evil::evil:here is the map again:evil::evil::evil::evil:

It's been a tough week and I'm running low on brain juice, so I'm trying to sort the last of it and check out for the night.

You have to use the ladder still!
