uploadfromtaptalk1437075230212.jpg looks pretty good IMHO! I also need to cut the top of mine down a tad shorter. What type of tubing did you use? This is mine. 3" aluminum.

Yup, starts with 3" Pipe, then goes to 4" intake ducting into the TRD intake box.

I can slip it down more, there's a bit of room.

    Thanks! Yours looks good!

    Aluminum. To plastic intake ducting.

Didn't get this exact one, but same thing, the bigger diameter will vary depending on what intake box you're connecting to. Mine is a TRD intake.

To fit this coupler through, May have to trim some of the lip from the intake box to get the box to line back up:

My guess would be it Would look too bulky and is unnecessary on our engines. 3" is plenty.

Bigass hole to cut, and snorkel top was 3.25 so it would have to be shrunk down anyways.

I'll edit my parts list with links.

word. Although I am supercharged the 3" it more than enough.

yeah it's flared at the top so I can only go so much more for now. Worse case can have it cut an re-weld. Thanks

How'd you drill the fenders? Just a big 3" hole bit or what?

yup, went to harbor freight got this kit: Then sanded a hole a bit more as I made adjustments, but the 3 1/4 hole saw pretty much nailed it.

    thanks!

How did your glass line up when you first fit it?

Not on the snorkel install....I mean when you first got the fenders

I got them used from @VolcomTacoma2011 so they were already fitted to his truck and pretty much fit over to mine.

Man I love that bumper... Getting a rear HC from Billy sometime by the end of this year or beginning of next. I want it to be first of it's kind so I been trying to come up with something unique lol

Hey Alex. Couple questions for you. I'm probably gonna order new gears this week along with a rear ARB locker. I contacted the guys at ECGS to ask them some questions about what ratio to go to. I don't drive my truck very much during the week, I drive my wife's car to work. The guys said if I have a bunch of weight (bumpers, bedrack, sliders, RTT, full size spare, etc,) and was planning to go to 35's then I should probably go to 4.88's but I know you wheel the crap out of your truck and you have 35's and a ton of weight and you're on 4.56's. I know you have a supercharger too but what would you suggest for me as far as gear ratio goes?

I'd go with the 4.88s Where I live the 4.56 just don't cut it. In my future I may swap my gears out to 4.88's just to make the driving better. Just not enough low end power for all the city driving I do with the 4.56's.

hows your highway RPM's, Alex? I'm a 6 speed, so I'll be running a little higher. I was thinking 34's on 4.56 to someday switch to 35s..but I commute in mine as well, so i don't wanna be running 3k rpms at 80 lol

I'm not suuuuuper concerned with gas mileage but I also don't wanna screw myself in gas so badly that I have to stop every hour for gas on trips haha. I like doing some challenging wheeling from time to time but I'm wondering if 4.88's are right for me if I'm doing long camping trips like 1000+ miles or so?

With an auto and 4.88's on 35's I'm at 2300 rpm doing 60 mph. 12 to 13 mpg. Truck weighs in at 5200 lbs with nothing but me and a half tank of gas.
