I'm thinking of applying Fluid film to the underside of my new truck before I hit any gravel roads.

I have been hearing about a lot of possible down-sides to getting a hard undercoat on the frame.

Has anyone here ever bought the Fluid Film undercoat spray kit? It includes the spray gun, but you still need a compressor I think, which I don't have.

Will Fluid Film hurt the rubber boots or anything else in the undercarriage?

You can also buy spray cans and you won't need a compressor.
