Hello My name is Mike. I have been on the Fj and wrangler forums for years and just bought a new to me (8006 miles) Tacoma Baja double cab with app suite/nav. I sold my 2014 TTUE Fj cruiser that I loved to buy it but it will make life easier camping, hauling kids and all their stuff around.

I read a lot more than I post so thank all of you for the info on the boards. First Mod will be Under coating as I live near Cleveland, Ohio then tint because I burn easy..

Am I correct in thinking this has about a 2" lift from the factory?

Thanks Mike Here are some pics of the Taco and The Fj I sold

Thanks People. Got my windows tinted to match the rear yesturday and had it under coated as well. Ordered a bumper and two 7" LEDS for the front, a 42" light bar for the roof and the Toyota roof rack system to mount it on. I'll get some Pics up later

Next will be an attempt to make the stereo sound better I'm thinking a JL audio 8w3 in a slot ported box ( I own this already or it would have been a 10) with some better speakers in the front with an amp should just about do it.. I have been reading quite a few threads on this so I will more than likely dynomat the entire inside as well.. Thanks Mike

Under coating is Black No Pics ..lol here is the tint shot. Its 35% legal is 50% but my Doctor wrote me a script for 35% with UV blocker because I have had skin cancer in three areas and my kids have red hair.

I know a lot of people don't like bull bars for several good reasons but there great for hanging lights from without drilling into the bumper and install in about 20 minutes with NO modification just bolt on..

Nfab makes a bolt on light bar.... That looks better than a bull bar.

Welcome, nice Baja, love that color. Yes it's approximately a 2" lift in front. I added a ICON progressive AAL on the rear. Works great for me and drastically improved its stance. In addition to your undercoating you may want to consider spraying "fluid film". That stuff repels everything especially the salt we deal with here in the midwest. If nothing else spray your rear shocks including the lines and fittings with it. Below is a cool thread with info on the bajas and trd pro's.
