i would like that but ive been having trouble finding correct clutch plates that match the 4wd version tranny.. theres stage 2 or stage 3 clutchs that could stand that .. but they are for the 2wd model only.. the best ive found is stage 1 that fits 4wd.. and the specks i saw say it can support up to
Horsepower Rating 275hp and Torque Capacity 289 ft/lbs. so.... the HP rating is ok but the torque.. that could eat the clutch way sooner than u'd like...

about the stacks.. ive scratched that idea... im gonna throw just a VW Jetta Diesel cat on from kermatdi for aobut 150 ish bucks and then straight pipe it after the cat. and do 3 or 3.5 inch exhaust

Also, the bed is rusted pretty good, so I'm going to rip off the bed and do a wooden flatbed with fold down sides and a fold down tailgate. Going to put 3 or 4 4x6's width-wise and bolt those to the stock holes where the bed would mount to... and then put 8 foot treated deck boards length-wise and screw and bolt then to the 4x6's. Will stain the wood first with waterproof deck stain, let it dry, then paint or stain it a dark, dark cherry red...

I just came across an idea on another forum where a guy swapped an om617 into a yota pickup..from his rig setup I got the idea of making a small maybe 1 -2 liter size surge tank mounted in the engine bay... have the stock yota fuel pump feeding towards the surge tank in line with the fuel rails. Then the stock vw lift pump would be rigged just after the surge tank feeding towards the engine.

Ok so now having gotten this idea, I am going to put in a Volvo 740 Intercooler, radiator and cooling fan.. because The radiator has a built in temp sensor to control the fan, simplifies the install because you only have to hook up a power and a ground and not have to deal with the Toyota or VW fan circuit.
