    Hey TW,

The time has come to replace my pads and rotors on my 06 Tacoma. They have a nasty chatter right now and that needs to go. I have been looking around and want to get some suggestions on what to get.

Cost doesn't matter because I baby my truck and what she wants she gets. I live in Canada and have harsh winters. I was thinking of performance rotors with slots and holes but don't know if that will have any negative effects. Also looking for a suggestion on good pads. Even if it's US company's I'm there a lot so that's fine.

Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated. Look for a brand and model to help my search.

    Thanks

Heard pretty good things about Akebono brake pads, and they aren't too outrageous. Also look into Raybestos, I think I heard they make good ones too. Don't know much about good rotor makers though

I used Brembo rotors and Hawk LTS pads when I did mine.

I have the lts hawk pads with stop tec rotors, they are good on the street and ok in heavy use, better than stock but maybe I should have got ebc pads.....
