Building light box

Hey guys I'm building a light box for 5 oval lights for my 01 tacoma have any of you built one? What thickness should I use and What material

 

What's the purpose of the lights?

 

Just the typical Prerunner rear facing light box for 5 oval lights

 

Oh, dust lights. I would think that 12-14ga steal be would be the easiest.

 

Light bar son!!

 

I already have 2 pods, I just want something that gives me 2 brake lights 2 marker lights and another auxiliary light. Where as the light bar won't cut it.

 

And 16 gauge aluminum or steel?

 

You could do what Brian did and use one of these. Can't remember where he bought it, but they come in different sizes and light variations.

 

If you can weld it, go for it. I just suggested 12-14 cause I find it slightly easier to work with.
