Yea, you do suck :D Actually a guy I work with bought a Xterra, he loves that thing. He traded a 2010 taco for it. Has nothing but good things to say about it, has had it since February with no complaints. Enjoy the new ride.

I pre-ran some more off road and abandoned roads today. Less than 500 miles on my new truck and I'm scraping it up already!

Tuscarawas County, Williams Rd SW; abandoned road that is marked closed, no signs on either end, but shows on maps and GPS. Nearest town is Port Washington. 2WD / 4HI road, the southern section is a steep muddy hill. Lots of oil roads and more gnarly off road opportunities just off this road. This road is fairly wide so no risk of paint damage. Also in the area is the closed Winding Stair Rd SW, which has some neat loose switchbacks at the east end coming off the Tuscarawas River. N 40 20.164 W 081 28.363 for Williams and N 40 19.438 W 081 30.459 for Winding Stair.

Guernsey County, Union Hill Rd, Early Cemetery Rd, and nearby roads running north and south off of Guernsey Valley Road. All are open roads but most have no signs, but do show on maps and GPS. Nearest town is Kimbolton. Fairly easy 2WD / 4HI roads but after a rain they are a goopy mess. Some ruts and one surprisingly tricky descent south on Union Hill (or tricky ascent if you are going north). Wide roads so no risk of paint damage. There are also some power line trails and other off road opportunities just off these roads including a crazy hill climb under some power lines which you access by basically baja-ing through a swamp littered with tank traps (not shown). N 40 11.204 W 081 36.791

Coshocton County, Wills Creek Area. Closest town with services is Coshocton, closest town for landmark purposes is Otsego (no food or gas) or Wills Creek (1 convenience store, unsure on gas). Some trails are essentially gravel roads and don't have names, but do show on GPS. Some trails are 2 track, not named, and do not show on maps or GPS. Most trails are tight, and you will scrape your paint and probably bang on rocks. There is some gnarly stuff here and some large mudholes, and some trails can start out easy and get hard fast. There is scarce cell phone coverage here. My rule out here in a truck is this: If the trail narrows to quad / ATV width, I stop and go back. Once the trails start choking up they get very muddy, there is no place to turn around, and they may end abruptly. I would rate most of this as moderate skill 4HI, the gravel roads are easy 2WD. N 40 08.744 W 081 47.883

The coordinates I listed are for the intersection of SR 83 with Wills Creek Rd, but the area is quite expansive and has a lot of stuff - all legal. You can camp, fish, shoot, cook meth, disembowel hookers, whatever suits your fancy out here. You'll need to just explore the area to see what there is.

I did see (and I can't believe I didn't take a picture of this) a Jeep Commander with street tires that was stuck on a muddy access out to a camping spot on a lake. The guy was walking on the road and flagged me down to ask if I had a chain, which I did not, so he just kept on walking. I drove up to his Jeep and around it, and out, just to let him know it could be done!

    You sir are a blessing!

Going to follow in your tire tracks once I've fixed a few truck issues.

Most definitely, when are you free? I'm currently between jobs so I can go wheeling any day of the week. I am about to do a major exhaust overhaul in about a week or two but before then I would love to get out and do some explorin. Ball is in your court my friend as I would assume that your schedule is at the moment more involved and busy than mine.

Not sure if you knew this or not but you can simply copy and paste the GPS coordinates listed (even without the 'degree' symbol) into Google and it will automatically populate a map with the coordinates at the center.

For anyone interested in going, @WheelInTheSky and I are planning on a day trip out to the trails that MeefZah scouted out on Sat. August 1

I won't be able to do any wheeling/scouting/camping until September. Too much work then heading to the D. Republic for a much needed getaway/get super hammered.

By that time though, the truck will be sitting a bit higher how I'd like it and will hopefully be on 37s.. Yes that's right girls
