New to Tacoma World. Just bought my first Tacoma, a 2015 TRD Pro in Inferno with a 6speed MT. I came from a 2008 4Runner with a 4.7 V8, then to a 2011 Tundra Crewmax, but wanted something smaller for Off-Road adventures. I have already added an Aries Pro series grill guard with 2 6in. Rigid flood LED lights and a 10in. Rigid spot LED light, Go Rhino step bars, Snugtop Rebel Shell, rear diff breather mod, anytime fog light mod, stereo upgrade, seat covers, ultra-guage and Wheeler AAL Progressive 3 pack, and a 3/4 inch front spacer. Looking to add a body armor rear bumper and OEM roof rack with a Go Rhino Safari basket with Rigid Off-Road lights. Been follow many threads on here and got a lot of ideas on how to build my Tacoma for my needs and wants, so thank you all.

Thanks. I am enjoying the new Tacoma, very much so. So much easier to maneuver, park, and make my way through busy California streets than my big 'ol Tundra.

I can only imagine driving a Tundra through Cal. I'm definitely enjoying my Taco considering I've spent more than I should in truck parts  . You've definitely joined the right forum. Tons of individuals on here than have a bunch of ideas and are willing to help you if needed. What kind of audio did you upgrade to?

I got some Pioneer full range speakers for all four doors and a 600 watt Kicker amp mounted behind the rear driver side seat. I love it, though I need to find some time to trouble shoot the system. My nav and Bluetooth aren't coming through. I think they are routed through the tweeters that I didn't reconnect. I might install new tweeters through another amp, not sure. Loving my new truck though. Can't get over all the after market goodies out there for the Tacoma. And I can't believe how much money I have already invested in it.

Driving the Tundra through San Fran, Sacramento, Oakland - really sucked. I always wanted to lift my Tundra, but I barely fit in any parking garages with it stock and street parking in that thing was near impossible

Oh yes, it's pretty much endless when it comes to aftermarket parts for the Tacoma's. One thing I've learned is that there are multiple ways to build your truck and the only opinion that matters is your own. That's weird about your Nav and Bluetooth. I upgraded my tweeters, speakers, subs, and amp to JL. I haven't had any problems with the Bluetooth connectivity, can't speak on the Nav part. I wouldn't think you would need an extra amp to power tweeters unless the amp isn't powerful whatsoever. I'm running a single amp with two ten inch woofers and haven't had any problems concerning power. My head unit is a Kenwood double din touchscreen.

Yeah, I am not sure. My text messages come through no problem (text message are read to me through the door speakers), but have no nav or Bluetooth call volume. I am almost certain that I was too excited about the new stereo upgrade that I forgot to reconnect the tweeters. I believe that is where the nav and Bluetooth volume comes from. Oh well, easy fix.

Yeah I would definitely reconnect the tweeters no matter what. They're vital to any system. I would think the 600 Watt amp would provide enough power for the tweeters and speakers. Considering you aren't running a sub, I would just reconnect the tweeters and see if that fixes your issue before buying a new amp.

Love the grill guard. Have 3 rigid led lights in it too and two driving lights also mounted to it.
