I backed into my GFs car about a year ago (wonderful) and didn't think I did much more damage then to my truck besides a bent side panel and dented bumper. Her Mazda didn't fare so well. Body shop fixed the side panel and the bumper and it looked fine. At that time I noticed the passenger wheel stuck out further than the driver and just thought the shop didn't put the bed back on correctly and it's been like that ever since. So today I finally got around to trying out straighten out the bed and realized it's over as far as it can go. Did more research on here and coupled with looking at the truck discovered the spring mounts are bent. Great.

From what I can tell I have three options...

    1. Have the shop bend the mounts back - How effective is this? Are they more prone to doing it again now with less of an impact?

    2. Install oem mounts if I can even get them - seems like a lot of work just to put a shitty design back on the truck. Does anyone make an aftermarket mount that keeps the same shackle design?

    3. Install something similar to the ATO flip kit.

I'm leaning toward the ATO flip kit just because it seems like a more solid design and if I'm taking the time to pound out the rivets I may was well put something good on there (even though I'd have to upgrade shocks - currently running standard dakars with nitrocharger sports)

Since dakars arn't designed for the flip is it going to ruin them? From what I've read on the ATO forum multiple people are doing it with no problems but just wanted to ask the question out right.

Open to any and all comments/suggestions.
