frustrated

Hi I would like to offer any one info on installing an outside temp reading through a Gentex mirror. I've owned a 2013 Sr5 and now a 2015 Off Road. The 14 pin plug comes pre installed on both. 2013 is plug an play as long as the mirror is a factory one. The 2015 comes with pin 1 , 2 and 8 installed in the 14 pin plug which will give you home link and compass. You need pin 12of 14 pin plug and pin 27 of A14 going to A/C amp which will give you outside temp. I received 2 week at techinfo.toyota.com and copied every thing I can get. Yes it is more detailed then that. I removed the mirror from 2013 and put back the stock before trade. The backup can't be used because it comes through In tune radio. So if anone want the detail step per step contac me.

hey Frustrated, I'm getting a gentex 177 compass/temp mirror. I have a 15 SR5 with the connector in the headliner. What do I need to know about hooking up the temp sensor? Is there one already installed? If not, how do I wire it to the existing wiring?
