Looking to install either a T-Connector into the factor trailer harness, or replace the factory harness with 7-Pin/4-Pin harness and plug so that I can run extra tail/brake/indicator lights.

Both eTrailer and Amazon tells me that I can use a 7-pin round T-Connector to work with the factory harness, however I can't see how it comes apart at the back of the trailer connector and the other end of the factory harness is not a round 7-pin as seen in the pictures below. Pictures of both ends of the trailer connector harness are shown below, which I'm assuming is standard for the factory tow package.

Has anyone done this before, or know what products work to T-connect into the factory wiring?

    Thanks,

    Jason
