It's funny because I sell these so I have a lot but yea this weekend while I was eating dinner at Chillis someone decided to steal mine.
What I thought was more funny was that mine were cut in half due to the light bar mounts so I have no idea why he'd take them.
Any of you guys secure them some sort of way? I had mine double taped but it was obvious that didn't help haha

Any chance it just blew off without you noticing?

I remember checking them. I have this weird habit of checking my rood bar mounts everytime I get off my truck and I remember seeing them. And when I go to my truck I always have a weird habit of checking my lights(had my pods stollen twice, and an attempt to steal my roof bar) and that's where I notice they were gone.

Possibly someone was trying to steal your lights.

Does Chillis have surveillance video available?

Not mine, but a buddy had one taken off his brand new '15 DCSB TRD. No chance it flew off on the fwy- it was clearly taken. There were scratch marks where they used a knife or key or something to lift a corner. Sucks. One more thing to look for when you return to your truck. I know a lot of guys take them off when adding a roof rack or light bar mounts. Any harm in this? From what I can tell, there is a finished and painted channel underneath so water runoff shouldn't be an issue.

I'm sure there is, didn't want to waste any time in the reporting crap specially since I have a lot. I just found it funny how they'd take them even when there cut in half

That sucks. There's no harm to anything not sure what your taking about usually guys who have mounts only cut off the pice where the mount goes, the guys that put the Oem racks take them completely off.
