    I just poked a small slit and used a stick (not kidding) with the 3 connectors zip tied to end and shoved it into the slit, cut the zip tie off and it was done.

    Not all that worried about leaks but maybe I'm risking it.

    I went into the main wiring grommet also , just like the hood release cable which is on the left.

    I don't see the auxiliary route in that pic. But nice to know you can go around the main wiring harness. I would prefer to do that as well.
