First off, before getting into specifics, this truck comes with a Thule Rack, a body color matched Leer Cap , and Wet Okole Seat Covers. In addition this truck has 3rd gen 4Runner wheels and a full size, matching spare. Thats a ton of money worth of additional utility bearing add-ons that other trucks dont have.

Most importantly, this truck is in PERFECT MECHANICAL CONDITION with a rust free, solid frame. While the frame will have inconsequential surface rust, it is structural perfect. This is a Virginia truck and has been all of its life. Was first bought at Kline Toyota in Tyson's Corner and the first owner used it to make a living as a contractor. Second owner was a personal trainer who used it to transport his equipment to clients, and Ive used this as my winter beater. Cosmetically, she is far from from perfect, but mechanically everything works perfectly, including heat, air, stereo, and 4x4.

Maintenance has been done loving and religiously. I do all my own work and can dig up invoices if you like, but here is a general run down:

-Mobil 1 high mileage oil 5w-30 in the winter and 10w-30 in the summer with a Toyota OEM filter - changed every 3000-4000 miles.

-Mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil in the transmission

-Mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil in the transfer case

-Mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil in the front differential

-Mobil 175w-90 gear oil in the rear differential

    -Toyota OEM lower ball joints

-Moog inner & outer tie rods

-KYB Gas-adjust shocks in the rear

-Dorman replacement OEM style leaf springs in the rear

    -Felpro Valve cover gasket

    -Denso spark plugs

    -Dorman replacement exhaust manifold

    -Marlin crawler shifter bushing

    -Gates drive belts

    -Wix fuel filter

    -new starter

    -fresh Autocraft battery

Also, note that this little 2.7L engine holds perfect compression on all 4 cylinders and doesnt burn/leak oil. Please look at the photo of the valve train that I took when I was replacing the valve covers gasket - that's a honey golden hue of high quality oil over 180K+ miles.

This truck is rock solid dependable and I will take it anywhere in any weather conditions without hesitation. I have zero doubt that this truck will not let me down.

Why am I selling it? Well, I REALLY, REALLY, dont want to, but my family is due to get bigger here in the next few months and I need to get rid of this truck for something that can carry a family. The only thing I will trade for is a 97-02 4Runner 4x4 in perfect mechanical condition. Otherwise, Im looking for a cash sale.

Full asking price of $5,500. I told the guy over the phone that I was stuck on that number and that he souldnt come to see the truck (he was coming from almost 100 miles away) unless he was OK with that. Guy didnt even attempt to negotiate. I got a text from him yesterday, loves the truck, and his buddy, a Toyota tech is begging him to sell it to him. :D

Nice! I had/have a very similar rig with a V6. Good to hear you got so much for it.
