I think they were. Granted, They are NOT re-valving the shock. If I remember correctly, they are just slowing down the flow of oil into the resi...so you're not getting alot of extra compression...but I noticed a difference. Example-hauling a a good 600+ lbs of rock and stone steps for my mother in law...as soon as I left the parking lot I noticed I was hitting bumpstops, so I hopped out, cranked the compression adjusters up to full and It was a smooth ride the whole way home..only time I hit bumps was on reeeaallly hard bumps on the high way. So they do help...offroad they help depending on what terrain you're going after....slow stuff I left them at 1...anything fast or hard hitting I had them at 8...

I think it was Fox that has the low speed and high speed adjusters now? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't researched them in a long while

Oh okay that makes sense, I bet it would help for the amount of weight I have when I go off road/camping.

I remember reading the fox adjusters didn't really work as well as hoped so thats why I ask about King, heard good things about icons though.

I think they all pretty much do the same thing, some just have finer adjustment or a slightly wider range. But you're paying extra for same thing across the board
