I am adding a 5 ch amp and new speakers to an existing DD Pioneer head unit. I ran new speaker wire to the amp. Can I leave the old speaker splices intact at the headunit since I'm running rcas to the amp or do they have to be disconnected? Thanks

Thanks. I ziptied the speaker ends and I'll add electrical tape. I didnt want to have to do something twice.
