I don't consider the canopy a mod so yes, the lift kit and the tires are the first mods to my truck. As I said, I pick the truck up this Friday and drop it off to the spring shop on Wednesday of next week for the lift and tires.

I'll also be calling wreckers to see if I can find some sport seats out of a wrecked TRD. That's the only thing I wish I had from the TRD, the sport seats. Although not that much different then the seats in the SR5 there is still enough of a difference to want them. It's never ending....

I've thought about uca's but I'm not going the full 2" in the front because I want to keep the factory front rake of the truck. Hopefully I won't notice too much of a difference with the steering. The guy at the shop said most of the 5100 lifts he does don't get the uca's.

Lol. I would have except the TRD Sport double cab doesn't come with any of the good stuff in Canada. No locker, no traction control, no skid plates. Other then the Bilstein HD shocks the package is more cosmetic. You can only get the TRD OR in the access cab and I wanted the double cab.

So with the 3K I saved by getting the SR5 I was able to get the canopy, 5100 lift and tires. Had I been able to get the TRD OR in the double cab I would have gotten the TRD.
