Looking for some good advice? I want to put a -38 offset rim on my 2001 Tacoma CrewCab it has a small suspension lift from fabtech will this cause more damage to the front axel regarding loads and forces? Or is it not advisable?

Wheel bearings, not axle. They will wear faster, but not instantly.

-38!? That seems really high. Is it just for looks?

Just don't want to get any rub, on the fender I would like to keep that stock, no cutting. Right now I have 15" rims and it just looks wrong !

How far do you want the wheels to stick out past the fender? What are the other specs on the wheels you are looking at?
