Are these the correct amount of leaf springs for a 1996 4x4 v6 truck? I'm looking at my 1997 4x4 4 cylinder and it has 4 springs total including the over load with no lift that I am aware of. The ones in the pic only have 3 including the overload. I'm just a little confused. If anything I would think that the v6 truck would have more leafs

Yes that is correct. There were some running changes.

Are you wanting to replace the pack?

Not necessarily as they are pretty new. May have 20k on them. The ones on my truck are trash and these where on a parts truck I bought. Just trying to find the best option to lift the back to match the front lift with 5100s and eibach coils. And most cost effective of course. Thinkin about the wheelers progressive aal.

That is certainly the best riding/performing aal option.

How much lift total will I gain in lift? As I will be leaving the overload in place as I usually have a dirtbike and gear, camping gear or hauling firewood out of the woods

With the overload, roughly 2" of lift.
