TRD sport hood

You modded a truck you haven't taken delivery of? You Canadians truly impress me.

 

Lol. Taking delivery of it on Friday. I tried to take delivery of it with the lift kit and tires on it but I couldn't wait another week so they've issued POs and I'll drop the truck off on Wed to have the work done.

 

We are a different breed up here. Must be the cold and igloo homes. Lol.

I can see that...I need to paint the grill, mirrors and get painted handles...I saw them somewhere in the last 60 hours.

 

OP you must not be married yet you didn't take delivery on a new truck yet and already have mods being installed with a list of others.... Man the good old days. Good luck with it.

Ha...no hate, must be a Canada thing my wife's like it's a new truck and your changing it already? Thing is I have my own shop, do my own work. Some women just don't understand... It's a guy thing.

 

The SR5 was a last minute decision. I was about to pull the trigger on a grey TRD Sport DC but when I got to thinking about why I really wanted the TRD I did some quick thinking and figured I could have more fun modding the SR5 with the 3K I saved by not buying the TRD. I can pretty much get the TRD look for much less then 3K. As I said in another post, we don't get the locker, traction control or the skid plates on the TRD DC. All those goodies only come on the TRD OR AC which I wouldn't buy even if I were single.

 

My wife just shakes her head at me and laughs. I'm pretty lucky if I do say so myself.
