I have aluminum tool boxes on my truck that are black powder coated. They have the diamond tread pattern. Please recommend a wax that will protect the finish but not be a pita to buff out on the rough surface.

I would look at a paint sealant. I have used Blackfire Wet Diamond on my truck and there is plenty of product to easily cover a toolbox without you even noticing.

I would put sealant and wax for ultimate paint protection and shine.

Sealant and wax? Sounds like a pita on diamond tread. :(

Pc shouldn't need protecting. It is a very durable coating.
