Ok, so im tired of the slight rubbing thats happening on the drivers side of my truck. Since a lift isn't in the near future, I'd like to avoid eating away at the corner of my fender flare.

How easy is it to install one of these 1/4 inch spacers on stock suspension? Would it be safe to say that I should get an alignment after?

Fairly easy if you know what to do. If you are working on stock, All you have to do, is to lift your truck and put a jack stand. Remove wheel, remove the two 3/4" bolts that attach the ball join bracket to the hub. Loosen lower shock nut, but do not remove. Put a floor jack under the lower control arm and remove the three bolts on top of the strut tower. lower the floor jack slowly in case there is compression. If there is not enough clearance to put in the spacer, just push down on the lower control arm to get more space between the top of the strut and the tower. after you get it in, assembly is the reverse. By the way, if it is like my truck, does not matter how many spacers you put in there, you will always end up with a 1/2" higher on the passenger side.

It might be easier to just remove the spidertrax wheel spacers to eliminate the rubbing.

Relatively easy to install the spacer, though it probably won't be enough to avoid rubbing. Standard way of dealing with this is to just trim back the fender flare.

Unfortunately it will still throw your alignment off slightly.
