Looking to add just a little bit of a lift to my truck that doesn't require a ton of modifications to suspension etc. and won't cause any types of issues. I am new where this is concerned and have done some reading on Billstein 5100s and OME etc. but am not sure of the best way to go and what all I would need to do to ensure that it is done right.

What are thoughts on adding just adjustable Billsteins in the front and Billsteins in the back as well, and leaving everything stock?

Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

    Thanks for any help

How much height are you looking to gain out of this? I don't have any personal experience with it, but I'm planning on doing 5100s all around with the front set at .85. I've read about quite a few people doing this and liking it.

That's about the height I am thinking too, and through reading have liked what I have read with the set-up that you described.

Since I don't do any off roading to justify 3" lift with 33" tires, I just plan on doing the set up I described with some 265/70/17 A/Ts. That'll give me a beefier look while still maintaining almost stock geometry.

Did you add anything else to it or just the 1.75 in the front?

I opted for the toytec 1.6" springs and Bilstien 5100 set at "0" and a wheelers 1.5" AAL. The ride is so much nicer than stock, and it gave me the beefed up look I wanted without doing a full 3" lift. Parts were $571 with wheelers assembling the coilovers. Labor took around 6 hours because I've never done it before. Definitely worth doing it yourself to save some green!

The Bilstein 5100s are a great option for someone looking to get an affordable lift.

For reference, here is mine set at 1.75 with stock coils, nothing in the rear, and 265/70/17s.image.jpg
