So I've had my projectors in for two weeks now and I guess I'll share some thoughts with you all.

    Setup:
-Morimoto Mini D2S stage III projectors
    -Apollo 2.0 shrouds
    -Morimoto Elite HID kit (35W)
    -Morimoto XB50 4300K bulbs

This is a very easy project. I've never done anything like this and it was like building a lego set or putting together a model. Anyone with a little know-how and initiative can get this done in a few hours. I've retro'd my truck twice basically. The first time, I didn't like how the satin paint looked so I baked them open again and painted everything flat black. I'm considering opening them again and getting a smudge I left on the lens off.

If I could go back and do this project again from scratch, I would:
-get the FX-Rs. JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!! When I say that this project is easy. It is easy. I don't know if I can put into words how easy it was. I'm a 19 year old kid with very little DIY experience and I tackled this like it was nothing.
-BE PATIENT!!!! I can't stress this enough. Take your time with everything. Painting, assembly, everything. My first time doing this, I got too anxious waiting for the paint to dry and I ended up rubbing off most of the paint on the edge of the reflector and overall, the finished project looked rather crappy compared to my lights now. I still didn't learn my lesson and I sealed up the headlights without wiping down the projectors first and now on my drivers side, there is a smudge right in the middle of it. Check yourself, double, triple, and quadruple check yourself.

    Problems:
-when I first put them in, the high beams didn't work. Out of nowhere, they fixed themselves and started working. This was odd because I knew the solenoid(?) was working because I hooked it up to a 9V battery and tested it 50 times like the write up said.
-one of my bulbs is a pain in the ass to get onto the ignitor. It twists the projector around when I try and put it on. One of the prongs on the bulb ended up breaking off because it was so difficult to get off. I'm probably going to JB Weld the projector to the reflector in hopes to end this.

All in all, this is a simple yet drastic mod you can do your vehicle. I highly recommend everyone to do this if your vehicle doesn't come with projector headlights. The light output is unmatched by any other company. My buddy has a pair of spyder projector lights on his truck and mine outshine his by far.
