    Untouched... For now.
Get exactly what you want and don't be afraid to go broke getting it, right?

Well, that's what I did. In the interest of full disclosure, I bought a Tacoma 4 1/2 months ago. It was a 2009 SR5 4 banger: silver, manual, access cab and unaltered. My goal was to find a 4x4 Tacoma with under 50k miles and a manual transmission and I did, so I bought it. Joined Tacomaworld after I purchased it. Started doing research on what I wanted. I mean, as it was when I bought it, the '09 was in fantastic condition and I really did love it. Or at least I thought I did. Sometimes your eyes wander though...

Fast forward 4 1/2 months. I wanted bigger tires. I didn't want to have to regear. I didn't want to ever worry about not having enough power. The access cab that I thought would be more room than I wanted? It wasn't. The stickshift I was so excited to drive? Well, it's a lot more fun driving stick in small, racey cars. So I listened to what I hear so many people preach and wholeheartedly agree with: if you're going to do something, do it right the first time. So I pulled the trigger, traded my 4 banger in, and left the dealership with a 2015 TRD Off Road, double cab, short bed, auto transmission in a real royal looking blue. Yeah, my payments might be more than I wanted. Yeah, I might have to wait a while to buy a brand new Harley. Yeah, I still rent and I don't have a house yet. But you know what? I'm pretty happy. I'm REALLY happy. And here I am, talking to you guys, bragging about my new truck, and getting excited to post and read more. But without further ado, here it is on a drive up to Mt. Baker yesterday.

Congrats on the new truck! I feel the same way, as long as you're happy forget what everyone else thinks is the better decision for you. I was kind of in the same situation. I had a 2012 DCSB sport with a nice lift and wheel/tire combo already on it when I bought it but sadly it got totaled. I work at a dealership so I get pretty good privileges when it comes to driving cars, so I drive a 13 Silverado for about a week thinking about getting it with the insurance money but it just wasn't the same as a Taco and I wasn't happy driving it and by an act of God someone traded in a 2015 DCLB sport bone stock so I snatched that up the same day it was traded in lol. Slowly working on making it look like I want but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a 15 with 6K miles for as cheap as I got it. Sorry for the story lol, but again congrats! I love that color too!
