Picked up another 4runner over the weekend from Jerry (loosnut here on TW). It's a 1987 with a rebuilt 22re and bunch of mods already done. Craig stopped by for the fun as well. Between the 87 and 89 I'll have plenty of parts for 1 decent SASd runna. The taco towed it home without much issue, and better than I had anticipated with a shackle flip and inboarded shocks haha. Couple of pics

probably build using the 87 since the engine is rebuilt and is in a little better shape than the other one. I already have a new transmission and a couple transfer cases laying around so driveline parts won't be an issue lol. I'm mainly interested in some of the glam 30+ year interior parts since they are hard to come by and most of them are extinct from the dealership parts stash as well.

I'm pretty pumped to get started on the swap, just need to set aside some time now which I haven't had alot of lately.

This weekend I went yaking and camping with a former member on here that has since left. Anyhow here's a few shots.

VVVVVV this, there will be no IFS left when I am done. The crossmember that broke is the drop bracket crossmember not the OEM one so it's an easy choice to just throw it out and keep on cutting.

Yeah I'm whooped, after I left camp today worked on the house most of the day doing misc bullshit, thankfully I'm off all week so I'll have some time to recover :D

    1st off, great fucking build!

2nd, how is the /\ setup working for you? How is it in the street? Did you need the custom shackles or was that for exta height/weight ?

    Thanks man
