New to forum and Tacoma, but not Toyota

I had a 1991 Toyota Hilux for 15 years and did most of the maintenance and small repairs. I loved that truck! Ran into some hard times and had to sell it a few years back. I'm getting ready to purchase my first used Tacoma. Hoping to get at least a 2007 or newer. I hope you are all patient and kind as I plan on asking a crap ton of questions. I realize that there a various models and multiple options and am just trying to get the terminology and get educated to make the best choice in choosing the right Taco for me.
I'm a California girl with a sailors mouth and speak fluent sarcasm. Hope I don't offend anyone. Just trying to learn new things and have a little fun. I welcome advice on Tacomas and the forum!
