Hey everyone, new member from Nova Scotia, Canada here. Just figured I would stop in and say hi. After months and months of looking I bought a 2005 Tacoma SR5 with 60,000km on it (US truck, 36000 miles). Really happy with it and excited to start playing around with the look. Just installed a Bluetooth stereo- next up I plan to start looking at the exterior, the tires in particular.

Edit: Just wondering if anyone knows anything about getting a US truck's frame inspected and checked for recalls in Canada, anyone forsee me having any issues?

One can never have too many light bars.
Nice truck especially for the mileage. VIN numbers are international so any recalls should pop up no matter what. Toyota of North America covers both the US and Canada so if you were to have any recalls it should be in the database.

Looks fantastic for an 05! I'm currently on the hunt for something similar. My X-Runner was brought up from California. Always nice to find a low miles truck from down south where the winters don't destroy them

Thanks, really lucked into the truck- have been on the prowl for a long time. Scheduling an appointment with my local Tacoma dealer hopefully this week to have the frame looked at, half hoping its one of the ones in the recall in order to get a brand new one- fingers crossed.
