Mexico builds all 4x4s, and San Antonio builds both 4x4s and 4x2s.

They are built mostly by robots anyways not matter where...much of the human element from production as been removed.

Not really. Alot of manufacturers are moving production to Mexico and finding enough qualified workers is difficult. I'm no auto manufacturing guru but theres probably hundreds if not thousands of workers in big plants. Seems like a fairly large human element.

Who cares where it is built. If the quality assurance and testing is done properly and to the same standards it makes no difference where something is built except to your pride.

GM and VW take jobs away. Those two just want to built as much shit as possible for the lowest cost. Toyota only moved there because they didn't feel they could expand the Texas plant all that much more.

Just buy your Tacoma in Canada, we're only getting USA-made trucks.

The only time I've ever seen any TMMBC Tacomas was during the period of time between when NUMMI stopped producing them and TMMTX started. Other than that they are all NUMMI or TMMTX. The latest information from TCI also only shows them coming from Texas for the 2016's.

    A bargain!

We'll call it a "know which factory it's coming from" charge. :)

Take another look at your VIN, it should be 5TFLU4EN_DX______ (6MT) or 5TFMU4FN_DX______ (5AT).

You can get both leather and JBL with the Sport. Granted, the leather is aftermarket through the dealer but JBL is very much an option. I have The JBL coming on mine.
